My granddaughter and I were there for her state nursing test, plus enjoying the area . Her 1st time in the UP. Our accomadations were perfect for us ! She had a desk to study at. We were on the water abd close to town. We loved the salt water pool and hot tub. Best of all, every staff member took care of us and the place was so clean !!

Fabulous hotel. All the staff were lovely with a warm welcome and friendly assistance from reception throughout our stay. Our room had a gorgeous lake view, spacious, super clean and beds were really comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and the lady looking after it helped show me how to make waffles. Breakfast was served in a lovely room with great lake views and a terrace outside. Great location. Great stay.

Overall our stay was great! The staff was friendly, room was clean, pool and spa were clean as well as warm. Location is nice as well since it’s close to town and has some paved trails to a few beaches near by. The breakfast/gathering area was a nice size with an outdoor patio and never felt too crowded. The breakfast options were decent and kid friendly.

The near location to both the downtown and the lake was great for exploring on foot.

Excellent hotel in every way. Very clean and comfortable. Soft sheets and wonderful pillows. Every one was kind and helpful. Our room overlooked the water. We opened the window and went to sleep listening to the waves. Simply lovely.

Beautiful setting on the Harbor front with view of the iconic Old Ore Dock. Cheerful staff, good breakfast.
